How it Works

Create your own pajama party!

It’s fun and supports the kids at CHOP; just follow these five simple steps:

  • Calendar

    Step 1: Mark Your Calendar

Choose a day that works best for your school or community group. At CHOP, we’re celebrating on Dec. 1, 2023.

  • Checkmark

    Step 2: Register Your Event

Get your school’s fundraising page set up by registering! Registered schools will get Pajama Day flyers to post around your school promoting your event, a custom digital flyer to send out, Pajama Day stickers for your whole school, and access to digital resources to let parents/guardians know about your event!

  • Money

    Step 3: Raise Funds

Ask participants to make a small donation – and encourage them to ask friends and family to support them – so they can wear comfy pajamas to school that day. Download our “Sponsor Me!” form to share with potential donors.

  • Party

Step 4: Party in your pajamas!

Host a movie, play a game, compete for prizes – there are so many amazing ways to make your Pajama Party as unique and special as your school. See some of our party ideas or create your own wacky or meaningful party theme!

  • Check

Step 5: Send your donations to CHOP

Please download, fill out and include our offline donation form when submitting your check or money order donations. Add your school’s name and ‘Pajama Day 2023’ to the memo line and mail it to:

    Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
    Attn: Pajama Day
    P.O. Box 781352
    Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352

You can decide where your fundraising dollars are used

You can choose where your Pajama Day fundraising dollars go at CHOP. You can choose pediatric research, patient care or a specific area of the hospital (such as the examples listed below). Pajama Day donations not specified for a specific area will be directed to the area of greatest need. Donations collected at your school must be received by March 15, 2024, in order for your school to receive credit for its efforts. Please also indicate if you wish your school’s donations to benefit a specific area of the hospital, such as any listed below.
